The website has no account or login, analytics or advertising. Its code does not intentionally set cookies and does not include external tracking scripts. You do not need to submit personal details to read the site.
When hosted on Cloudflare Pages, the hosting service receives information needed to deliver web requests, such as an IP address and request details. The absence of site analytics does not mean that no infrastructure-level processing occurs. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its practices.
The Windows application
The application does not require a user account. It does not intentionally collect or sell personal information for advertising and does not contain third-party advertising.
The app uses display and system information needed for wallpaper functionality, such as the displays available in your setup. My Photos can access local folders you select so their images can be used as wallpapers.
Online catalog and images
The app connects online to retrieve wallpaper catalog information and images. These connections require network requests to the services delivering that content. Downloaded images may be cached locally to support the wallpaper experience.
Access to selected local photo folders and retrieval of online wallpaper content are separate functions. Adding your own folders lets the application work with those local images.
Purchases and licensing
Microsoft handles Store purchases and licenses, including the optional Pro purchase. Barynto does not receive or store payment information.
